MATCH THE RIGHT GUARD TO THE ROLE

Depending on the role you are trying to fill, you need to find the right security guard that has the right type of mindset, endurance and skills.

Keep in mind that not all guards can remember the first aid training that they received, so don’t expect them to be supermen.
If you need them to truly have great medical/first aid experience, ask them in the interview how confident they are with their skills, or perhaps ask them to refresh their skills.

Going through a security agency may seem to be a few dollars more expensive, but it saves you time and money in the long run.
A security firm does all the background checks, creates policies that the guard will adhere to on your job site, and takes care of all the tax, payroll and human resource stuff.
Hiring a security company also gives you peace of mind knowing that another security guard will be sent to you if your current security officer gets sick or simply doesn’t turn up to work.
